ISM Biofertil N 2024 Broccoli Trial YieldObjective: To determine the impact of a 20% nitrogen reduction on broccoli yield and whether current or experimental ISM Biofertil N products can be used to maintain or improve yield. Materials and Methods: On July 5, 2024, the plot was established in a sandy loam soil near Santa Maria, California. Broccoli was planted in plots 99 cm wide and 160 m long, with row spacing of 30 cm. The planting rate was approximately 26,136 plants per acre. Each plot was replicated four times in a completely randomized block design.

ISM Biofertil N 2024 Corn Silage Trial YieldTulare, CA (Coutry Side Dairy)Objective: Corn silage production requires high yield and good forage quality to provide high-value nutrition to dairy cows. The objective of this trial was to evaluate a corn silage nutrition program, developed based on soil test reports and producers’ performance goals, against a standard program. The standard program included ISM Biofertil N, Phosphorus, and Nitrogen, as well as organic matter application and leachate from the same farms. Forage samples were analyzed to determine quality components. Milk production was estimated using the Wisconsin Milk 2024 computer model. Harvest took place in September, when the crop was at its peak nutritional status.
pistacho
ISM Biofertil N 2024 Pistachio Trial YieldObjective: This is the second year of ISM Organic Fertilizer research using the Independent variety of pistachio, Kernan variety for the previous 2 years, for atotal of 3 years. We are comparing the grower standard program against ISM Organic Fertilizer. We are able to demonstrate the efficacy and efficiency of our products when comparing them to the grower standard and maintain yield despite applying a convination gal. of fertilizer organic and conventional per acre than the grower standard.
raspberryblackberry
ISM Biofertil N 2024 Raspberry-Blackberry Trial YieldObjective: This is the second year of research with ISM organic fertilizers, using raspberry and blackberry varieties during the previous two years, for a total of two years. We are comparing the grower’s standard program with ISM organic fertilizers. We can demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of our products by comparing them with the grower’s standard and maintain yields despite applying fewer gallons of fertilizer per acre than the grower’s standard.

ISM Biofertil N 2024 Almond Trial YieldObjective: This is the second year of ISM Organic Fertilizer research using the Independent variety of almonds, and Non-Pariel variety for the previous 2 years, for a total of 3 years. We are comparing the grower standard program against ISM Organic Fertilizer. We are able to demonstrate the efficacy and efficiency of our products when comparing them to the grower standard and maintain yield despite applying less gal. of fertilizer per acre than the grower standard.
